Balboa Salon is a hair studio in southern California specializing in lived in color and hand tied extensions. The team reached out to us ahead of their salon opening to craft a visual identity and brand message that would align them with their target audience and attract their ideal client from the beginning. 

Their biggest concerns were surrounding standing out in a saturated market, portraying the value of their services & higher price point, and wanting support building a community of engaged followers & loyal clients. 

With a vision to craft an eclectic, california chill meets a colorful, whimsical vibe, our goal was to create a more laidback, fun, and and effortless feeling compared to other more bold, editorial style salons in the area. Together we created a brand strategy, working thoroughly to develop their brand message, unique position in the marketplace, and playful visual brand design.
